When you add your NOW Pension scheme on PayFit you will be prompted to fill in some information about your scheme. This article will show you where you can find that information.

What information do we ask for?

When adding a NOW pension scheme on PayFit, you will need to head to My Company > Pensions > My Schemes > Add New Pension Scheme > select NOW > fill out contribution details > click on Set up employee pension account.

Once you've added a NOW Pension scheme on PayFit you reach this section 👇

It is very important you fill this information in correctly to allow us to successfully upload your pension contributions. All of this information can be found by logging into your NOW Pension account.

Where can you find your account information in NOW pension?

When in your NOW Pension account you should go to your ‘Employer settings’. Here you will find your:

  • ER (Employer) code: a 4 digit alphanumeric code

  • Pay code: Each payroll has its own code which you will have assigned. If you only have one payroll this code will be P001.

  • Start of earnings period: To find your start of earnings period go to the main screen of your account. Here you should see the dates of your next contributions period.

In the ‘Start of earning period’ box on PayFit you should input the date that is shown as the the red box of your own account (it may not always be the 1st of the month).

  • Payment due date: this is the date you have set the direct debit to be taken from NOW Pension. If you are unsure on this please check previous bank statements or contact the NOW Pension support team.

🎉 You are all done 🎉

If you have given us access to your NOW Pension scheme we now have everything we need. For information on how to give us access to your NOW Pension scheme please take a look at this article.
