Linking your pension provider portal to PayFit

This article explains where to find the relevant information from your pension provider to allow PayFit to upload files on your behalf.

By providing access to your pension scheme, PayFit can:

βœ… Submit your monthly contributions

βœ… Process new joiners & leavers

βœ… Process pension refunds

βœ… Send auto-enrolment letters

What we can't do:

❌ Make the pension payment for you. You'll need to set up a direct debit or make monthly payments to the pension provider of the amount shown on PayFit

❌ If an employee wishes to opt-out within the first month of being auto-enrolled, they must do this directly through their pension provider.

❌ We won't submit your declaration of compliance or re-declaration of compliance for you. For information on how to do this, please refer to this Help Centre article.

PayFit can currently manage files for the following pension schemes:

  • AVIVA Workplace Pension

  • NEST

  • NOW: Pension

  • People's Partnership, previously The People's Pension (B&CE)

  • Smart pension

For any other pension schemes, please refer to our Help Centre article explaining how we can support you.

AVIVA Workplace Pension

  1. You'll need to ask an authorised signatory at your company to add a new admin to your account. If you are unsure who the authorised signatory is for your scheme please contact AVIVA.

  2. Once you're logged in to your MyAvivaBusiness portal, click User Management.

  3. Select the 3rd Party Company Owner level of access.

  4. Use the following details to add PayFit as a new admin:

    • DOB: 03/04/1994

    • Phone number: This should be the number of the main contact for your business.

Over the next day or so, you can check that your pension scheme has been synced with PayFit. To check this, from the left, choose Pensions, then My schemes. Under the pension scheme name, it should display 'Synced with PayFit.

If your pension. account isn't synced with PayFit after a few days, please submit a support request.

NEST

  1. Log in to your NEST account.

  2. Click Manage delegates.

  3. Click Add a new delegate.

  4. Click Add organisation

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Name of organisation: PayFit

    • Add Delegate organisation ID: TPA012732830

  6. On the following page, click Confirm, then choose the Full access delegate option.

Over the next day or so, you can check that your pension scheme has been synced with PayFit. To check this, from the left, choose Pensions, then My schemes. Under the pension scheme name, it should display 'Synced with PayFit.

If your pension. account isn't synced with PayFit after a few days, please submit a support request.

NOW Pension

To give PayFit access to your NOW:Pension account, please contact their customer support team to link your account to PayFit's Bureau account. They will ask for PayFit's Bureau code which is B0320.

Over the next day or so, you can check that your pension scheme has been synced with PayFit. To check this, from the left, choose Pensions, then My schemes. Under the pension scheme name, it should display 'Synced with PayFit.

If your pension. account isn't synced with PayFit after a few days, please submit a support request.

People's Partnership formerly People's Pension

  1. Log in to your People's Partnership account.

  2. From the left, choose Manage employer.

  3. Click Company details.

  4. Enter the contact details as follows:

  5. Click Continue.

Over the next day or so, you can check that your pension scheme has been synced with PayFit. To check this, from the left, choose Pensions, then My schemes. Under the pension scheme name, it should display 'Synced with PayFit.

If your pension. account isn't synced with PayFit after a few days, please submit a support request.

Smart Pension

  1. Log into your Smart Pension account.

  2. From the top-right, click Menu, then Company details.

  3. Click Advisers.

  4. At the bottom, click Click here to create an adviser invitation.

  5. Click CREATE ADVISER INVITATION.

  6. Click the envelope icon to send the adviser invitation via email.

  7. From the top-right, click Menu, then Company details again.

  8. Click Notifications centre.

  9. In the Membership emails section, add uk-pensions@payfit.com.

    This notifies us of any opt-outs, opt-ins, changes in contribution amounts, etc.

Over the next day or so, you can check that your pension scheme has been synced with PayFit. To check this, from the left, choose Pensions, then My schemes. Under the pension scheme name, it should display 'Synced with PayFit.

If your pension. account isn't synced with PayFit after a few days, please submit a support request.
