This Help Centre article explains how to check & track pension-related changes in PayFit.

You can view these changes under Run my payroll > Monthly changes.

This section now includes an area dedicated to pension changes that have been processed during the current month.

For more information on how to process pensions in PayFit, please refer to our Help Centre article on setting up and managing pensions.

What is it?

An additional section within the Monthly changes page that highlights any changes related to pensions for the current pay period.

This includes:

  • New pension enrolments

  • Opt-outs processed

  • Pension contribution changes

  • Pension refunds

You can find this under Run my payroll > Monthly changes.

Why this feature?

Pension changes can easily be missed or become difficult to track across different systems. This feature was introduced to:

  • Improve visibility over pension activity each month

  • Help payroll teams reconcile with pension provider data

  • Reduce the risk of mismatched submissions or errors

  • Ability to export changes to pensions from PayFit

By providing a clear view of what’s changed, it’s easier to ensure your pension reporting is accurate and complete. You can also export reports in each section for your own records.

What does it include?

The pension section of Monthly changes includes:

  • Enrolments and scheme leavers
Any employees who have been enrolled into, or left, the pension scheme during the current pay period.

  • Contribution changes
Any updates to employee or employer pension contributions made that month.

  • Refunds
Pension refunds processed in the current month, typically due to employees opting out within the statutory window.
