Validate expense and absence requests as an admin

If you're on a Standard or Premium price plan, you can provide employees with access to submit leave requests and expense requests through their employee space. These requests can be validated by any PayFit administrator.

Tip: Managers can also validate requests from their team. For more information, please refer to our Help Centre article.

Absence Requests

To approve or reject an absence request, from the left, choose Validations, then Leave.

Tip: Use the tabs along the top to view approved, refused, or cancelled leaves.

Here you can:

  • Click the pending request to see the type of absence, date and duration of the absence and the date of the request.

  • View the leave calendar to check who else has leave booked on the same day.

  • Click View leave balance to check how the employee's leave balance has been calculated.

  • Click the Note tab to see any notes left by the employee.

Once you've reviewed the request, as applicable, click Approve request, or Refuse request.

Expense requests

To approve or reject an expense request, from the left, choose Validations, then Expense.

Tip: Use the tabs along the top to view validated, refused, or cancelled expenses.

Here you can:

  • View the expense type, description, date and value.

  • Click the pending request to view or download the receipt.

  • Click the Comment tab to view any notes added by the employee.

  • Next to the Do you want to validate the expense? title click the question mark to see the date and time the employee submitted the expense.

Once you've reviewed the request, as applicable, click Approve, or Refuse.
