In PayFit, you need to enter your HMRC credentials, so we can submit your RTI (Real Time Information) submissions on your behalf. Occasionally, you might receive an email notification indicating that your RTI submission has failed.

This is part of our standard process where we initially submit a test submission to check for any errors. If the test submission fails, you'll receive an email notification from HMRC. However, we also receive the error details and will continue working on the submission until it's error-free. Once the submission is successful, you'll receive an email notification, like the one below, confirming that the test submission was successful.

If you need to make adjustments to your data, such as adding mandatory information, we'll reach out to you to resolve the issue.

Once your Full Payment Submission (FPS) is ready and contains no errors, we’ll send your live submission the day before payday. If you run your payroll late, we'll send your FPS on the same day.
